This site presents the voluntarily summarized biographies of the Stoppa family.
All the information you will read on this site is confirmed by archival documents, writings by authors and historians, which are mentioned in the book.
The reader wishing additional information will find in this book, for each Stoppa, a particularly detailed biography. Over 200 archival documents have been transcribed, the bibliography includes a list of 272 authors and nearly 300 books!
The book also contains appendices relating to the Swiss soldiers, the battles in which they participated and a lot of information explaining the historical context of the XVII th and XVIII th centuries.
